Leadership Amid Difficulties (COVID19)
The appellation “leader” is earned by trust and appropriate actions. Organizational executives and managers are appointed positions. One test of whether an appointed executive is a leader is how employees and clients are treated. During especially difficult times, such as COVID19, executives may be tempted to choose themselves or the organization over their employees and clients. Employees will follow trusted leaders, not organizational wonks. Clients will hire trusted organizations, not self-seeking executives. Remember: without people, there is no organization. Be a trustworthy leader.
